Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP)
The Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) is a Georgia Medicaid program that provides in-home skilled nursing and personal care services for medically fragile children from birth through age 21.
GAPP services are covered by Georgia Medicaid. Eligible families pay $0 out of pocket.

- Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

- Severe epilepsy / intractable seizures
- Hydrocephalus with shunt
Feeding & Nutrition
- G-tube / J-tube / NG tube (ongoing)
- TPN dependence
- Severe dysphagia / aspiration risk
- Complex failure to thrive with medical support
Neuromuscular
- Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA)
- Muscular dystrophy
- Congenital myopathies
- Severe hypotonia affecting breathing/feeding
Technology Dependence (Equipment)
- Suction machine
- Pulse oximetry / apnea monitoring (when clinically required)
- Oxygen concentrator
- Enteral feeding pump
- Infusion pump
Diagnosis alone does not guarantee eligibility. Approval is based on medical necessity, physician orders, and clinical documentation.
